The USA Sales Tax Calculator performs all calculations locally in the client browser using JavaScript. When you enter a purchase amount, select a state, or adjust a tax rate, that data never leaves your device. We do NOT store, sell, or collect your financial data, purchase amounts, or personal tax records on any server.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• Purchase amounts or cart values you enter into the calculator
• Pre-tax or post-tax figures derived from reverse calculations
• Personal tax records, income details, or filing information
• Names, addresses, or payment details tied to your calculations

Because calculations happen entirely on your device, closing the tab or refreshing the page discards your inputs. There is no account system and nothing to delete.

3. Third-Party Analytics and Cookies

To operate and improve this free tool, we use standard third-party services that may set cookies or collect anonymized usage data:
